One thing I never expected while building
C+ Under Grace Co. was how much joy and meaning I would find in growing herbs and learning more about natural ingredients firsthand.
What started as simple curiosity slowly turned into something deeper.
I began researching herbs, planting seeds, learning about growing conditions, experimenting with lighting, visiting local farmers' markets, and paying closer attention to where ingredients come from and how they are grown. The process hasn't been perfect, and I'm still learning every day, but honestly, that's become part of the beauty of it.

There's something grounding about caring for plants.
It teaches patience. Consistency. Stewardship. Slowing down.
In a world that moves fast and pushes convenience, growing even a small herb plant on a windowsill can remind you to reconnect with simple things again.
That mindset has started shaping the heart behind my business as well.
I don't want C+ Under Grace Co. to feel disconnected from the ingredients being used. I want there to be intention behind what I create and appreciation for the natural things God placed on this earth for nourishment, comfort, and care.
Whether it's mint, chamomile, lemon balm, basil, or other herbs I'm learning to grow, each one has become part of a larger journey — not just in product development, but personally too.
Growing herbs has reminded me that healthy things take time.
Roots develop before growth is visible.
Some plants thrive quickly.
Others require patience, adjustments, and learning through trial and error.
Honestly, I think people are a little like that too.
The more I learn, the more I find myself appreciating simplicity, quality ingredients, local growers, farmers' markets, and the connection between nature, wellness, and intentional living.
That connection is something I hope to continue incorporating into my business over time — not only through products, but through education, storytelling, creativity, and encouraging others to slow down and reconnect with meaningful care again.
For me, this journey has become about more than products alone.
It's become about learning, growing, creating with intention, and staying connected to the things that truly matter.
