This business was born from a long journey through trauma, grief, caregiving, rebuilding, faith, healing, and learning how to continue forward even when life is difficult and changes you deeply over time.

More than anything, this company is rooted in purpose, connection, and legacy.

 

For over 20 years, I carried a vision in my heart to create something meaningful — something centered around caring for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Though life took many unexpected turns along the way, the vision never fully left me. Years later, I felt God place it on my heart once again, reaffirming that purpose does not expire and that some callings remain with us through every season of life.

Faith has carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life, including the loss of my husband in 2017, seasons of grief and exhaustion, caregiving responsibilities, personal struggles, rebuilding, and learning how to keep moving forward one day at a time. Through it all, Isaiah 54 remained especially close to my heart — particularly Isaiah 54:11, which became deeply personal to me as a reminder that God sees the afflicted, the overwhelmed, and those trying to rebuild their lives piece by piece.

Legacy is one of the most important parts of this journey for me.

​

As a mother, I want my children to see that pain does not have to be the end of someone’s story. I want them to see perseverance, compassion, faith, creativity, humility, and the importance of building something that genuinely serves others rather than simply chasing profit or perfection. Part of this legacy also honors one of my closest friends, who courageously battled cancer that eventually spread throughout her body, including to her brain. During a season when I stayed with her and helped care for her, I watched her pursue wellness, nourishment, holistic healing approaches, and intentional living with remarkable strength and determination.

Though she passed away in December of 2022, her heart, resilience, and passion for wellness left a lasting impact on me and became another layer of inspiration behind this company. I don’t claim to have life perfectly figured out, and I never want this brand to come from a place of pretending otherwise. I’m still learning, healing, rebuilding, growing in faith, improving my health, learning discipline and balance, and becoming more grounded day by day.

 

One of the greatest lessons I’ve had to learn is that caring for others also requires learning how to care for myself.

For much of my life, I carried the weight of trying to hold everything together for everyone around me, often forgetting the importance of rest, healing, boundaries, and trusting God instead of relying solely on my own strength. Over time, God has shown me that true strength is not found in exhaustion or trying to save everyone, but in learning to rest in Him and allow Him to lead the process.

​

That journey continues daily.

​

My goal is not to be a loudspeaker forcing my beliefs onto people, but simply to be a vessel that God can use through compassion, honesty, creativity, encouragement, and the way I live my life — both in the struggles and in the victories. If someone seeks prayer, encouragement, wellness inspiration, or wants to know more about the faith that has carried me, I’m always grateful to share. But more than anything, I hope my life itself reflects perseverance, grace, humility, and purpose in a genuine way.

C+ Under Grace Co. is not built on perfection. It is built on real life, real struggles, growth, restoration, and the belief that healing and hope are still possible even after difficult seasons.

​

My hope is to create products, stories, and spaces that help people feel comforted, encouraged, seen, and connected — especially those who may feel overlooked, burdened, exhausted, or like they are trying to rebuild their own lives one step at a time.
